Model Rockets
The beginning
At first I wanted an R/C airplane but they where too much money. At the hobby shop I kept looking around for a R/C airplane but they where all over $150.00. The manager came and siad '' May I help you''. I said ''I want an R/C airplane''. He said I shouldn't get one because they brake easly, and are too much money. Then he showed me the model rockets section and thats where I started my model rocket hobby.
The first flight
I flew my first rocket at Blue Jay Point County Park in North Carolina. The field is big and great for model rockets! There was another family there ready to fly but there rocket was acting up. My Dad and I wanted to see the other family go first so we can see how it's done, but we got set up to fly our rocket and the other families rocket finally went off. We where ready for flight but we had the same problem as the other familly did, so my Dad went to check on the rocket and fixed it. We where ready for flight again and the rocket finally went off!
